Brunei: Don’t abuse power, Sultan tells Labour Dept, INRD officers

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Oct 6 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The uncontrolled influx of foreign workers in the country was among the issues raised by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, during an unscheduled visit to the Labour Department and the Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD).

His Majesty said, “The Labour Department and the Immigration and National Registration Department are among the government agencies that play a crucial role in handling matters pertaining to licensing and visas.
