Chinese mainland reports 20 imported Covid-19 cases; no new local cases for 45 days

BEIJING, Oct 5 (Xinhua): No new locally transmitted Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases were reported on Sunday night (Oct 4) across the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said Monday. It was the 45th day, China has not had a local case in the country.

A total of 20 confirmed cases arriving from outside the mainland were reported, the commission said in its daily report.
