Brunei: 20 years jail, 15 caning for drug trafficker

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Oct 4 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The High Court has handed a 20-year jail sentence and 15 strokes of the cane to a man for possessing 66.63 grammes of methylamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and other drug related offences.

Mohd Johari bin Ahmad @ Chen Lian Ho pleaded guilty to the first charge of possession for trafficking 66.63 grammes of methylamphetamine, a second charge of possession for trafficking 7.14 grammes of MDMA, a third charge of possession of 0.68 grammes of methylamphetamine, fourth and fifth charges of consuming methylamphetamine, a sixth charge of possession of 0.43 grammes of methylamphetamine and a final charge of possession of drug consumption paraphernalia.
