China's economy to recover fully within a year: Global Times survey

BEIJING (Sept 30) : A total of 63.4% of people in a survey 10 days ago believe that China's economy will recover to its pre-epidemic situation within a year, and Beijing’s efforts to fight the Covid-19 epidemic have lifted public confidence and strengthened national solidarity, according to state-owned news portal Global Times.

The survey, conducted by Global Times recently, showed that China's military and economic achievements in the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20) period are the two most recognized developments - which observers said could be an indirect result of the US' efforts to curb the rise of China.
