JAKARTA, Sept 21 (Xinhua): Indonesian President Joko Widodo has assigned Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan (pic) to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic in the country in addition to the recent establishment of a national committee on pandemic mitigation and economic recovery.
The Indonesian Health Ministry has said the daily increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the country has hovered around 3,000 in the past two weeks.
