Guangdong's foreign trade grows 3.5 per cent in August


Guangdong's exports of integrated circuits grew by 26.6 per cent year-on-year in August, and exports of textile products including face masks, medical devices and pharmaceuticals continued to increase. - Reuters

GUANGZHOU (Xinhua): Foreign trade in south China's Guangdong Province increased 3.5 per cent year-on-year to 653.25 billion yuan (about US$96.5 billion) in August, customs statistics show.

Exports totalled 419.53 billion yuan, up 7.8 per cent year-on-year, and imports totalled 233.72 billion yuan, down 3.4 per cent, according to Guangdong customs.
