Philippines: Covid-19 cases near 270,000 as Duterte looks at vaccine from China, Russia

MANILA, Sept 15 (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 cases in the Philippines surged to 269,407 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 3,544 new daily cases on Tuesday.

The DOH said the number of recoveries also rose to 207,352 after it reported 395 more patients have survived the disease, and 34 more patients have succumbed to the viral disease, bringing the death toll to 4,663.
