Thailand: Govt closes all borders with Myanmar; only two Covid-19 cases reported

BANGKOK, Sept 14 (The Nation Thailand/ANN): The government of Thailand on Monday has announced that all natural Thai-Myanmar borders were closed in immediate effect in order to curb Covid-19 cases in its country.

On Monday (Sept 14), Maj-General Thakad Lordsiri, commander of the Surasi troop which patrols the Thailand-Myanmar border in Prachuap Khiri Khan, checked the barbed wire fences placed in different parts of the province, including the Dang Singkhon pass, which is only used to transfer goods for now.
