BEIJING, Sept 8 (Xinhua): Chinese President Xi Jinping (pic) on Tuesday expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people to all foreign governments, organisations and friends who have offered precious assistance to the country's fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
He also paid tribute to those who had given their lives in fighting Covid-19, and others who had died of the disease.
