8 Laos drug smugglers arrested for trafficking 10kg crystal meth in Vietnam


HANOI, Sept 8 (Xinhua): Border guard forces of Vietnam's central Quang Tri province have cracked down on transnational drug trafficking ring, arresting eight Lao people and seizing 10 kg of crystal methamphetamine, Vietnam News Agency has reported.

The province's border guard forces coordinated with Laos' authority to catch eight people who were trafficking 10kg crystal methamphetamine worth more than US$1mil from Laos to Vietnam on Sunday night, the news agency reported.
