JAKARTA (Bernama): An earthquake of 6.2 magnitude jolted off Indonesia's eastern Maluku province early Tuesday (Sept 8), but there was no potential for a tsunami, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said.
The quake struck at 7.45am Jakarta time (0045 GMT) with the epicentre at 198km southeast Central Maluku district and a depth at 193km under seabed, reported Xinhua news agency. – Bernama
