Singapore: Only 34 new Covid-19 cases; three local and 2 imported


Singapore confirmed 34 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infections in the republic to 56,982. There were three local cases also reported - one Singaporean and two work pass holders. - The Straits Times/Asian News Network

SINGAPORE, Sept 5 (The Straits Times/ANN): Singapore on Saturday afternoon confirmed 34 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infections in the republic to 56,982.

"Based on our investigations so far, there are three cases in the community, of whom one is a Singaporean and two are work pass holders,” the republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its brief data released here today.
