Indonesia names new suspect in prosecutor Pinangki's bribery case

JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/ANN): The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has named NasDem politician Andi Irfan Jaya a new suspect in a bribery case implicating prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari and detained him at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detention facility as part of coordination between the two legal forces.

Andi was named a suspect on Tuesday (Sept 1) for allegedly being the middleman in Pinangki’s case. The AGO named Pinangki a suspect in a bribery case as she was accused of receiving a US$500,000 bribe from graft convict Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra.
