Foreign arrivals down 67% in first eight months

IN the first eight months of 2020, foreign arrivals into Vietnam reached only 3.8 million, down by 67% compared to the figure of 11.3 million recorded in the same period last year, as the Covid-19 pandemic greatly impacted travel.

The number was announced by the country’s General Statistics Office (GSO) over the weekend.
