Foreign arrivals to Vietnam down 66% in eight months

HANOI, Aug 31 (Vietnam News/ANN): In the first eight months of 2020, foreign arrivals into Vietnam reached only 3.8 million, down by 67 per cent compared to the figure of 11.3 million recorded in the same period last year, as the COVID-19 pandemic greatly impacted travel.

The number was announced by the General Statistics Office Of Vietnam (GSO) over the weekend.
