HONG KONG, Aug 30 (SCMP): More than 340,000 people in Hong Kong have signed up for voluntary coronavirus testing as top officials appealed to the public to take part in the citywide scheme in a bid to identify invisible carriers and halt Covid-19’s spread.

That came as the city reported 15 new coronavirus infections on Sunday, the third lowest daily tally of cases since July 3.
