Myanmar: Massive drug haul by cops; over 600kg of ICE worth US$11.1 million


YANGON, Aug 16 (Xinhua): Myanmar seized 626 kilogrammes of methamphetamine (ICE) in Shan state in a single day, according to a release from the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) late on Saturday.

The seized ICE, worth 15.65 billion kyats (US$11.1 million), were confiscated, with two suspects in Tachileik township being arrested late Friday.
