Brunei: Youngsters cleans up Muara beach as country reports no virus cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug 16 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Sixty-nine volunteers rolled their sleeves up for a clean up activity at Muara Beach yesterday, collecting 24 bags of trash (135kg of waste) from a 300m stretch in 45 minutes.

The volunteers comprising Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Discovery Year students and members of the public, collected trash including a refrigerator door, bottle caps, toothbrushes, diapers, tyres, cushions and a mattress.
