Philippines: Covid-19 cases soar to 157,918 with 4,351 cases confirmed on Aug 15

MANILA, Aug. 15 (Xinhua: The number of confirmed Covid-19 (coronavirus) disease cases in the Philippines surged to 157,918 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 4,351 new daily cases on Saturday.

The DOH said that the number of recoveries further rose to 72,209 after 885 more patients have survived the disease.
