Thai police seizes 600kg 'ice' destined for Malaysia


BANGKOK, Aug 11 (Bernama): Thai authorities have confiscated 600 kilogrammes of 'ice' (methamphetamine) in Narathiwat worth about 210 million baht (RM28.3 million), believed to be destined for Malaysia.

Narathiwat's Police Chief Pol Maj Gen Narin Busaman said police, acting on a tip-off, raided a house at a village in Muno in the subdistrict of Sungai Kolok, Narathiwat, and discovered the ‘ice’ hidden inside 15 sacks in the kitchen at 1 pm (local time) yesterday.
