SINGAPORE, Aug 11 (The Straits Times/ANN): In a telling display of the Republic's commitment against illegal wildlife trade, the National Parks Board (NParks) will be crushing $18 million worth of illegal ivory, weighing around nine tonnes, on Tuesday (Aug 11).

This will be the largest haul destroyed globally since 9.5 tonnes of ivory was crushed in Malaysia in 2016.
