BEIJING Aug 9 (China Daily/ANN): The good times are back in Beijing. The consumption season has kicked off in Chaoyang district in Beijing on Saturday (Aug 8), with shopping carnival, light show and street food stalls launching efforts to reboot the Chinese night economy.

A two-month-long Great Wall cultural festival has started and it was indeed a lively with thousands of Beijing residents visiting the carnival on Saturday night.
