HONG KONG, Aug 1 (SCMP/ANN): Covid-19 killed four more elderly patients as Hong Kong recorded 125 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, the 11th day in a row with triple-digit increases, while the city’s leader apologised for the inconveniences caused by the previous full-day ban on restaurants.

All but one of the latest cases were locally transmitted, including 45 without a known origin. The imported infection involved a returnee from Britain.
