Philippines re-imposes non-essential international travel ban

MANILA, July 27 (dpa): The Philippines has reimposed a ban on non-essential travel abroad, more than two weeks after permitting touristic trips outside the country, a government spokesman has announced.

Filipinos were for almost four months banned from all non-essential domestic and international travel from mid-March when a lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
