Covid-19 cases in Philippines reach 56,259 with 2,124 newly-reported cases

MANILA (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 cases in the Philippines have surged to 56,259 after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,124 more infections.

The DOH said on Monday (July 13) that the number of recoveries further rose to 16,046 after 2,009 more patients have survived the disease.
