Laotians urged to adapt to new normal to prevent second wave of Covid-19

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): The National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Laos has urged the public to adapt to new normal in order to prevent possible second wave of Covid-19 in the country.

Deputy Director General of the Department of Communicable Disease Control under Lao Ministry of Health, Latsamy Vongkhamsao, told a press conference in Lao capital Vientiane on Thursday (July 9) that authorities and people countrywide must fully comply with the government guideline and adapt to the new normal to stop the spread of the virus.
