Indonesia's Covid-19 vaccine successfully passes eight phases of tests


JAKARTA (Xinhua): The vaccine for the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) being developed by Indonesia has successfully passed eight phases of trials and will undergo seven other examinations, the Covid-19 Task Force said on Tuesday (July 7).

The vaccine is jointly developed by Eijkman Institute for Bio-molecular Biology of Indonesia, the country's PT Bio Farma and PT Kalbe Farma, as well as a South Korean firm, said Reisa Broto Asmoro, a member of the task force, adding that the process will take a long time.
