BANGKOK, July 7 (The Nation Thailand/ANN): Many devotees went to pay their respects to the Luang Pho Phet Buddha statue in Phichit province’s Wat Tha Luang temple to mark the start of Buddhist Lent on Tuesday.

Some devotees also offered boiled eggs, as it is believed that offering boiled eggs to Buddha makes wishes come true.
