APPROXIMATELY five million Generation Y and Z employees face economic uncertainty as they risk being laid off because they do not have enough working experience, and their salaries were between 10,000 baht and 20,000 baht (RM1,372 and RM2,745), the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce pointed out.
Thanavath Phonvichai, the university president and adviser to the Centre for Economic and Business Forecasting, said that the Bank of Thailand also had concerns about this issue.
