MANILA (The Philippine Inquirer/ANN): The Duterte administration is moving against ABS-CBN Corp’s pay television and digital TV businesses, cutting off millions of viewers as it ramps up its attack on the media giant.

Amid the hearings on ABS-CBN’s franchise on Tuesday (June 30), the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ordered the company’s subsidiary, SkyCable Corp., to immediately stop its satellite TV service known as SkyDirect, which has over 1.5 million subscribers across the country.
