First patient in new Beijing cluster recovers

BEIJING: The first Covid-19 patient in Beijing’s latest cluster infections related to the Xinfadi market has been discharged from hospital after recovering, according to Beijing Ditan Hospital.

On June 3, the patient, surnamed He and aged 56, stopped for about 20 minutes at the beef and mutton trading centre of the Xinfadi market, a large wholesale market for fruit, vegetables and meat in south Beijing’s Fengtai District.
