BEIJING (Xinhua): The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector rose to 50.9 in June from 50.6 in May, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Tuesday (June 30).
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.
