PHNOM PENH, June 22 (Xinhua): Work on the US$1.5bil new Phnom Penh International Airport in Cambodia has been forging ahead despite an economic slowdown caused by the Covid-19, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Monday.
Started in 2018, the construction of the airport in the first phase has been 30 per cent completed so far and will be finished by 2023, he said.
