BANGKOK (Xinhua/ANN): Sidewalks along major roads in Bangkok have been cleared of hawkers and given more space for pedestrians, Bangkok Governor Asawin Kwanmuang said on Saturday (June 20).
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has gradually managed to keep hawkers with stalls or carts out of the sidewalks along a number of roads in Bangkok's busy districts and embellished their landscape, the governor announced.
