Most digital platforms expected to fall in line with Thailand's VAT law


BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Tech giant Google is ready to register for the proposed value-added tax (VAT) in Thailand, while Netflix and Facebook have not offered a response as they are still evaluating the bill.

The Cabinet recently approved the E-Service law or VAT collection from foreign digital platforms. The draft will be considered by the House of Representatives.
