Indonesian president attends Friday prayers amid gradual reopening

JAKARTA (dpa): Indonesian President Joko Widodo attended a Friday (June 5) prayer congregation for the first time since the government imposed restrictions to curb the spread of the Covid-19 (coronavirus) in April.

Joko arrived at the mosque in the presidential palace complex wearing a mask and was subjected to a temperature check, a video posted on YouTube by the the president's office shows.
