Thai immigration extends migrant workers' stay to July 31

BANGKOK (Xinhua): Echoing the recent cabinet meeting's decision to grant migrant workers' stay in Thailand during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Thai Immigration Bureau on Wednesday (June 3) published on its website that migrant workers from Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar can have automatic visa renewal and extension until July 31.

The bureau said the extension will help solve labour shortages.
