Laos conducts 5,044 tests for Covid-19 since January, no new cases for 40 days


VIENTIANE: Laos has conducted 5,044 tests for Covid-19 (coronavirus) since January, according to the National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. And the government announced that confirmed cases are still at 19 and no cases detected for 40 days.

Laos has been carrying out tests daily for the virussince January, with the total number of tests reaching 5,044, with 19 cases tested positive, Deputy Head of Laos National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control Phouthone Meaungpak told a press conference in Laos capital Vientiane on Friday.
