Mass swabbing detects 215 Covid-19 cases in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Two hundred and fifteen individuals tested positive during mass swabbing operations so far, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar said during a press conference on Tuesday (Oct 26).

“Mass swabbing operations have been carried out mostly in the red zone areas and workers’ dormitories.”

“Some 215 out of 7,000 individuals tested positive in over 15 operations conducted nationwide,” the minister said.

More targetted mass swabbing as part of surveillance testing is being planned to prevent the further spread of Covid-19, Dr Mohd Isham added.
