Thailand's border camps under Covid-19 lockdown after discovery of infection

BANGKOK (Xinhua): Thailand's Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said Monday (Nov 23) that three border camps in Thailand's northwestern province of Tak are now being placed under Covid-19 lockdown, after one Covid-19 infection was reported earlier.

CCSA spokesman Taweesin Visanuyothin said that the infection was a Myanmar national who was diagnosed with Covid-19 when he returned to the Ban Oompium camp and later admitted to a hospital in the province's Mae Sot district.
