Malaysia's September exports up 13.6 per cent on higher electrical, electronic shipments


KUALA LUMPUR (Xinhua): Malaysia's exports rebounded by a double digit growth of 13.6 per cent to RM88.93 billion (US$21.4 billion) in September, lifted by higher electrical and electronic (E&E) shipments.

Malaysia International Trade and Industry ministry said in a statement that exports of manufactured goods in September, which made up 87.7 per cent of total exports, picked up by 16.3 per cent year-on-year to 77.99 billion ringgit.
