Irfan's SEA Games future in jeopardy

KUALA LUMPUR: National discus thrower Muhammad Irfan Shamsuddin’s chances of competing in the Singapore SEA Games in June will hinge on the outcome of a police investigation involving an alleged assault on fellow athlete A. Kavee Alagan.

Malaysian Athletics Union (MAU) president Datuk Karim Ibrahim said they would not compromise on any athlete with disciplinary problems.
