SEVERAL readers have written to the media sharing ideas over managing and planning water supply to avoid rationing. I would like to add one more thing that can be done to augment the supply of water by building more ponds near rivers.
Whilst consumers are up in arms blaming poor management by the water companies, the producers often say there is little they can do because rain is not falling in the catchment areas.
