IT is ironic that we are continuously talking about “memertabatkan” Bahasa Melayu and yet one day our future generations may have to attend English stream schools just to speak Bahasa Melayu.

Plain, simple Bahasa Melayu words that had been used for centuries are now deemed to be unsuitable for use and need to be replaced by words that are derived from English words.
