SUNGAI PETANI: The so-called development at Sungai Batu archaeology site, which was much talked about in the social media is a non-issue, says team leader of the research project conducted by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
Director of USM’s Centre for Global Archaeological Research Prof Datuk Dr Mokhtar Saidin said the site would remain and the research team would continue its work since the National Heritage Department had bought the land.
