Communist-era hero and patriot dies at age 88

PETALING JAYA: Former Special Branch officer Tan Sri Yuen Yuet Leng, one of the men behind the historic Haadyai Peace Accord of 1989, has passed away.

Yuen, 88, died yesterday morning from heart failure. He is survived by wife Puan Sri Linda, 69, and two daughters.
