Rally held to call for press freedom

KUALA LUMPUR: Hundreds gathered here Saturday for a rally to protest the suspension of The Edge over its reports on the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) issue.

The group gathered at Central Market before marching to the Bar Council office in Leboh Pasar, calling for the lifting of the suspension against The Edge Weekly, The Edge Financial Daily, and for the Sarawak Report website to be unblocked.
