KUALA LUMPUR: She forged a cheque for almost a million ringgit to save her husband from an Ah Long, but got 40 months jail for her “loving” effort instead.

“Love a husband sparingly, don’t love a husband to an extent of willing to commit crime, there are limits to helping a husband,” Sessions Court judge Norsharidah Awang told Bok Chuen Er, 32, yesterday before senten­cing.
