KOTA KINABALU: A shopping mall’s move to stage its own Harvest Queen pageant is making some prominent Kadazandusun leaders see red.

They have taken exception to the event being called Unduk Ngadau (beauty contest) as such an event should be organised by those of from Kadazandusun and Murut while the contestants should strictly be from these two ethnic communities.
