USM student killed, seven injured in Aceh bus crash

PETALING JAYA: A Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) student, who was among 25 members of an academic team, was killed in a tragic bus accident while travelling in Aceh, Indonesia.

Seven others were injured when the bus crashed at a steep embankment at about 7pm local time on Wednesday (8pm in Malaysia) after the group was returning from a visit to a coal mine in Geumpang.
